George Furnanz, Senior Vice President and Director
George Furnanz came to Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. shortly after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Sacramento. During his 22-year career with Stacy and Witbeck, George has progressed from Field Engineer, to Project Engineer, to Project Manager, to Area Manager, to Regional Manager, and is now a member of the Company’s Executive Management Group. He also became a member of the Company’s Board of Directors in 1998. Currently, George manages both the Northwestern and Southwestern United States regions for Stacy and Witbeck.
George is a recognized leader in the construction industry and well known among his industry peers. He is currently on the California Alliance for Jobs Board of Directors, a business member of American Public Transportation Association, a director of the Contractor Division of American Road and Transportation Builders Association, a member of the Beavers, and was the 2005 President of Engineering Utility & Contractors
Association.
