McKalla Station

The McKalla Station Design-Build project includes two passenger platforms, a special event platform, platform canopies, pedestrian paths, pedestrian ramps, stairs, handrail, guardrail, plaza areas, platform amenities, landscaping, lighting, surface area drainage, and a passenger track crossing. The owner awarded additional scope in a $5 million change order, which includes trackwork through the station area, including a shoofly, train signal and testing, headwall and wing walls for a box culvert, drainage channel improvements, and approximately 2,000 lf of cast-in-place and precast retaining walls.
